TOP 6 Tips to Reduce Arm Pump in ENDURO

We all know that clutch and throttle control is very important for enduro riding, but it is difficult to have perfect control if you have an arm pump. So today I will try to help you, and I will give you my tips that helped me reduce the arm pump.

The position of the levers on the handlebar is very important because it puts a strain on your hands if they are placed incorrectly. So I suggest you have a position, where they are neutral. To suit uphills and downhills but also corners and other stuff. If they are raised it is suitable for long downhills, but it will make you hand pain when you ride long uphills and zig zags.

The suspension is very important, but also quite complicated to adjust. For a hard enduro it has to be very soft, but don’t overdo it. However, it must be stable for higher speeds.

The handlebar determines the position of your elbows while riding the enduro bike. When you turn it forward, your enduro motorcycle will turn better in tight terrain. But for fast rides it will be a bit unstable and uncomfortable to ride. So I suggest you find some neutral position that will suit you for slow and high speeds.

Warming up the body before riding is the most important thing, I should have mentioned it first but unfortunately I forgot. Do a couple of exercises with your neck, arms, legs to warm up before riding and make blood circulation through your body.

Gripping your bike with knees will reduce needed strain on your hands. The more you hold your enduro bike with your legs, the more your hands will be saved. This technique takes time to learn and adapt to, it looks easy but we forgot to use it.

Handlebar grips may not seem to matter but they are because they are the main part that connects your hands and the bike. If you have smaller fingers, you must thinner grips and maybe gloves also.
